Gordonville, AL is a place with a rich history of people who have impacted the development of Lowndes County, Alabama and the U.S. A town anchored with a one of kind historic marker placed at the location of the Crosby Water System (The first black-owned Water System). The home of historic churches such as MT. Carmel Baptist Church, MT. Moriah 1 and Wood Chapel Church. A community that offers a relaxed educational journey which will add years to your life. It is located 25 miles west of Montgomery, Alabama. 2020 Census


The Town of Gordonville is preparing for the 2020 Census by geting leaders to raise their hand in support of the Census. Mayor Ozier and the Town Council welcomed leaders and citizens to the new Municipal Complex. This building is now a cornerstone in the Town that will catalog historic data, create legislation and serve as a community meeting place.
