The Town of Fort Deposit offers a perfect blend of southern beauty while maintaining a spirit of hospitality. You can drive 25 minutes south of Montgomery, AL to a flavor and taste paradise at Priester’s Pecan. Give yourself a chance to sample unique treats that will set your taste buds on fire. Fort Deposit host the oldest, largest and most renowned arts and crafts fair in the Southeast. Calico Fort Arts and Crafts Fair is held each April with visitors and vendors from across the country. If you like friendly communities, open space, rolling hills and shops with one of kind items/treats, then Fort Deposit is the place to visit.  Fort Deposit is rich in history dating back to 1813 when General Claiborne, under orders from Andrew Jackson, established a supply fort here.
